A series of realistic Lichen paintings finding the truth and the accuracy to balance with the Expressionist paintings which free the inner state of the artist.  The two compliment each other, perhaps not visually, but without the freely expressive paintings the detailed Lichen paintings could not be completed. The Yin to the Yang. Balance.
