Pump Shed Tango

Alby Carter presents a delightful series featuring rural water  pump sheds in his first ever exhibition in the Waikato. An expressionist landscape painter, he finds his subject matter along  Surf Highway 45 on the South Taranaki coast. Although describing  himself as ‘a basic slapper onner’, Carter betrays a practised hand in his stunning use of colour and fearless brush work.
